Australia's First Mallee National Park

Wyperfeld National Park is in the Big Desert Area of north west Victoria. The area is remarkably rich in flora and fauna including 650 different species of plant.

The book traces the Aboriginal and European occupation of the land and development of the park. As well as providing a detailed insight to the natural features of the park, the book also describes suitable tracks and places of interest for walkers, cyclists and drivers. Appendices include plant, bird, mammal and amphibian lists. The book also features excellent photography both colour and black & white.
