A.B.C. Maps is wholly owned and operated by Australian Bush & Country Maps who are specialist wholesale map and guide book distributors.
Whilst we would like to maintain a functional website, it is not our intention to profit from business that may otherwise be directed to our wholesale customers, therefore we have decided to donate net profit generated by this site to organisations involved in the preservation of Australian native wildlife.
From 1 July, 2006, a percentage of sales from this web site will be donated to non-profit organisations involved in causes to protect Australian native wildlife. With the assistance of our customers, we expect to be able to raise several $000s per annum. Progress results and details of donations made by us will be displayed on this page.
The percentage of each purchase to be added to our donation pool will be displayed after the purchaser has submitted an Order Form
Charities and causes under consideration will include:
- Specialist wildlife fund managers
- Purchase of major parcels of land for wildlife
- Protection of threatened species
