Travel Tip 2 At Alexandra Township follow Grant Street through the main shopping centre on to Mount Pleasant Road. Near the top of the hill leading out of the township, turn left along a gravel access road to Lucky Gully Lookout at the Alexandra goldfields. No gold has been mined there for the best part of 100 years; however, the lookout provides a good view across the old gold workings and Alexandra township. |
