Scenic Skyway at Scenic World, near Katoomba, is the only passenger
carrying horizontal cable car in the Southern Hemisphere. Also at Scenic
World is The Sceniscender, which is the steepest cable car in the
Australia, takes people on a three minute, 545 metre ride down into the
rainforest. |

is a wonderful historic tourist railway, originally operating from
1869 to 1910. |
