NAGAMBIE 'Grapevine by The Lake' on the shore of Lake Nagambie |
The Gra[evine by the Lake, in the heart of Nagambie, is a place where you can buy a wide variety of nuts, sit down for a light refreshments, obtain tourist and local information for the Nagambie Lakes and Goulburn Valley region or buy a map for exploring the area. |
The historic Nagambie township is beautifully situated right on the shore of Lake Nagambie. Go for a short walk, enjoy a picnic, take a cruise or bring your fishing rod. There are lots of activities within and around Nagambie. |

Not far from Nagambie to the north is the amazing 100 year-old Kirwan's Bridge. It looks rickety, it may even feel a bit shaky, but it is still well-used by light traffic passing from the eastern side to the western side of Lake Nagambie. |
One place not to be missed is the Goulburn Weir. There is a well-maintained picnic area in a lawn and garden setting beside the historic stone weir. You can walk across the weir to the old Goulburn Weir construction township site. All that remains of the township is a cement church. |
