Within easy
reach of Mathoura township are the vast red gum forests and wetlands of the
Murray River system. This walkway leads to a bird hide and lookout over the Gulpa Creek marsh and wetlands. There are some outstanding picnic, camping and touring options within the forest. |
| Gulpa Creek flows adjacent to Mathoura Township. Once you cross a narrow footbridge across the creek you are in the Redgum forests. A walking track links several bridges across the creek passing some interesting features along the way. | |
