State Forests of NSW

This excellent series of maps covering the main state forest regions of New South Wales have generally been produced at 1:100,000 or 1:125,000 scale. 

Good road and track information make navigation easy. Facility symbols identify camping, picnic and recreation areas. Status of land is colour coded for National Parks, State Forests, Reserves and Crown land. GPS Co-ordinates are shown around the perimeter of the map.

The series in currently undergoing extensive revision and some titles may be temporarily out of print.

From a prospectors point of view they are useful for identifying crown land and access.

This new edition state forest map replaces the former Newcastle State Forests Map. All new cartography with all the old features such as roads and tracks, watercourse, crown land, state forests and National Parks clearly shown. A must for outdoor recreation in the region. Published 2000.

This map replaces the old Bulahedelah, Walcha and Barrington Tops State Forests Maps in one new sheet. Covering the area from Hawks Nest to Crowdy Bay in the east and from Branxton to Glenrock in the west. Includes all of the Barrington Tops National Park and Myall Lakes system plus Tuncurry, Taree and Karuah. Fully revised and updated. Published 2006.
