Best detail for locating mines Most of this series has been produced since the late 1990s. The maps are full colour scan images and feature geological shading and notation of mines and mineral deposits by numeric symbol cross referenced from the map to a list of mines in the margin. Topographic detail is a bit scarce and sometimes a little hard to read, therefore it may be beneficial to also refer to a printed topographic map, bearing in mind that most 1:100,000 scale topographic maps were produced late 1970s / early 1980s. <---- Section of Georgetown map showing mines around the junction of Etheridge & Delaney Rivers. |
