MEMORIES OF BADGER HEAD

by Joan Lyons

Badger Head is a headland a short distance west of the river Tamar. The headland is part of the asbestos range which juts out into Bass Strait and provides shelter for the beach from winds particularly the prevailing north-westerlies.

In this book there are many short stories of fond memories of families that have lived and holidayed in Badger Head as early as the 1800s.Included are many photographs of the families and the nearby surroundings.
