Eremophilas are becoming an extremely popular plant in the garden because of the tremendous variety in foliage and their masses of stunning flowers, which come in all colours from white through to various shades of yellow orange and red as well as blue, lilac and purple. Their beautiful flowers attract birds, butterflies and native bees to the garden. One of the greatest attributes of eremophilas is their amazing ability to survive with very little water, making them the perfect shrub for the low or no water use garden, especially in these times of lower rainfall, higher temperatures and a drier continent. They can be grown all over Australia except for the tropics.
