An overview of the entire walk This is a very useful booklet providing maps at approx.1:100,000 to 1:140,000 scale of the entire Australian Alps Walking Track from Walhalla to Canberra. (See extract below) Brief descriptions by section give the reader an introduction to the area. It should be noted that the maps are not intended for navigational use. Anyone walking any part of the route should be well equipped with the most up to date and detailed topographic maps available as well as John Siseman's comprehensive book of track notes titled 'The Australian Alps Walking Track'.
