BASS STRAIT

This book by Gippsland regional historian P.D Gardner examines the origins of over four hundred names in and around Bass Strait, included the coast of Victoria from Cape Otway's to Lakes Entrance and the North Coast of Tasmania. The book takes note of previous names, Aboriginal names and other aspects of original interest as well as including amusing and anecdotal snippets of history . It follows on from  the Authors series  on Gippsland names and can be either used as a quick reference by visitors or as a historical guide for those yachtsmen and fishermen who frequent the waters

PRINCES HIGHWAY BETWEEN MELBOURNE AND SYDNEY

This book follows on from my previous works on place names in Gippsland.
