Walks are graded as easy, medium and hard and all are circuits or retraces, to facilitate transport and access. There are also a few walks which require camping for those desiring extended walks including the Penguin - Cradle Trail plus some extended wilderness walks for experienced walkers.

Coverage includes a good spread of walks across the entire island. (See index map below).
