He has updated each map every few years to keep the information as current as possible. Keen bushwalkers assist in providing up to date information. It is the extra pieces of information that these bushwalkers provide which makes the maps invaluable to other bushwalkers. Each map is produced from a hand drawn base; which can sometimes have benefits against today's computer mapping technology. Cartography is in 3 colours and most maps in the series have contours.
